San Quirico d’Orcia, 19 July 2021 – The Chapel of the Madonna di Vitaleta is a tiny jewel set between six iconic cypress trees, near San Quirico d’Orcia, a small town at the centre of the valley, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This church is steeped in history and, with its recent restoration, has been returned to the community of San Quirico and beyond, and is now rediscovering its sacred, intimate and timeless essence.

RISTORO DI VITALETA

Situated next to the Chapel, “RistoroVitaleta” is a new establishmentcreated for all the visitors who wish to spend a short time there savouring delicacies from the local area and from Podere Forte. The fare on offer includes hams and cured meats from Cinta Senese pigs, extra virgin olive oil PDO Terre di Siena, fresh bread made from Senatore Cappelli durum wheat flour and other typical products selected from among the gastronomic delights of Val d’Orcia, alongside the wines from Podere Forte.
